Dr. S. Hemamalathi

(Microscopic Endodontist, Digital Smile Designer, Aesthetic Dentist)

Dr. S. Hemamalathi is the Co-founder and Director of the Academy of Advanced Dentistry. She graduated from the Tamil Nadu Government Dental College in the year 1996 and acquired her Masters in Endodontics in 2001 from the Tamil Nadu Dr. M. G. R. Medical University. She has taken special training in Digital Smile Designing and Dental operating Microscope.

She was the University topper in the Post Graduate exams and was conferred the Best Post Graduate Student award by the Indian Endodontic Society. She is the recipient of the prestigious Dr. T. D. Chugh award for the best scientific paper. She has worked as a Professor in the Department of Conservative Dentistry and Endodontics, Meenakshi Ammal Dental College and Hospital, where she had been actively training postgraduates and undergraduates since 2001. She is a vivid researcher and has the distinction of rendering the 6 best paper awards and more than 18 national and 5 international publications. She has also been involved in the active coaching of BDS graduates for the All India and Tamil Nadu MDS entrance exams. She is at present, Head of Endodontics at Smile and Glow Dental Healthcare Pvt. Ltd.

She is an invited speaker at many national conferences in India. She has conducted several hands-on workshops in national conferences in India and also microscope training workshops for postgraduates in many reputed dental colleges in India.

The clinical expertise which runs a span of 24 years has no doubt given her a strong foothold in the field of dentistry which she passionately carries out. She is a multifaceted person who has been an inspiration to many people. She has mentored many young dentists and has played a major role in their careers.
